A seaside duplex penthouse created for space, comfort and slow summer days.
Aquamarine Garden Beach was not a chance discovery.
For almost two years, we searched for the right place for our seaside home. We knew exactly what we were looking for — somewhere close to the sea, with a beautiful view, generous terraces and enough space for family and friends. We wanted a peaceful, well-kept setting and a place where you could spend a proper summer holiday without feeling that you were compromising on comfort.
When we first found this apartment, it looked very different from the way it does today.
It was in poor condition and needed a great deal of work. But it had things that no renovation can create — the location, the sea, the view, the space and the large terraces.
Most of all, it had potential.
Sometimes you have to look beyond what is in front of you and see what a place could become. Just as a sculptor sees the figure within a rough block of stone, we looked beyond the old interior and saw the home this apartment could become.
What followed was a complete renovation. We changed, renewed and rethought almost the entire space, with every decision guided by the same question:
“Would we genuinely want to spend our own holiday here?”
We did not buy the finished jewel.
We saw it before it was revealed.
Two levels. Three separate bedrooms.
Space to be together, and room to be yourself.
Fully renovated in 2026, with independent air conditioning in every room.
A double bed, calming coastal colours and direct terrace access make this bedroom a restful place to begin and end the day. Its own air-conditioning unit lets you choose the temperature that suits you.
A second separate double bedroom gives another couple or family members their own retreat. Open the door to the terrace, enjoy the fresh sea air and settle into the easy pace of a beach holiday.
Two separate single beds make this a flexible room for children or friends. Like both double bedrooms, it has direct access to a terrace and its own air-conditioning unit.
Two fully renovated bathrooms make sharing the home easier, whether you are travelling as a family or with friends. A fresh, light interior continues the calm feeling of the rest of the apartment.
When we began the renovation, we did not simply want to make an old apartment look newer.
We wanted to completely change the way it felt.
The complex itself has a character of its own — calm surroundings, greenery, a swimming pool, a touch of Provençal charm and the sea just nearby. We wanted the interior to continue that feeling, but with a lighter, more elegant and relaxed coastal character.
Gradually, the direction became clear — an interior inspired by the Hamptons style: light, soft tones, a natural feel, comfort and understated elegance.
But for us, a beautiful interior only makes sense if it is also comfortable to live in.
That is why we put just as much thought into how the home works as into how it looks.
We paid particular attention to the kitchen. We did not want it to feel like a separate, enclosed room, but like a natural continuation of the large dining and living area.
We rethought the space so that the kitchen would be spacious, functional and visually connected to the rest of the main living area. We wanted the person preparing breakfast or dinner to remain part of the conversation, the family and the atmosphere of the home.
We thought carefully about work surfaces, storage, equipment and the way people would actually move through and use the space. Because for us, a true holiday home should work just as well for a family staying for many days as it does for a short weekend.
The same principle guided the rest of the renovation — more light, a greater sense of space, comfort and a natural connection between the interior, the terraces and the sea outside.
We did not want a home that simply looked good in photographs.
We wanted a place that genuinely felt good to live in.
A comfortable lounge with television opens into the generous family dining area.
Settle into your own holiday routine, from an early coffee to dinner together. The kitchen is fully equipped for a short break or a longer stay.
Three outdoor spaces.
A little more sky. A little more sea.
The main terrace stretches across more than 40 m² with a front-facing sea view — an outdoor extension of the home for morning coffee and quiet evenings. Two more terraces look towards the sea and the complex, including its pool.
Every bedroom opens directly onto a terrace. Step outside, find your favourite corner and let the sea become part of your day.
There are many things we love about Aquamarine Garden Beach, but some of the best ones are difficult to describe through square metres, amenities or a list of features.
They are moments.
One of our favourites comes early in the morning. The sun rises over the sea and, for a few minutes, the light changes everything — the terrace and the bedroom fill with warm red and golden tones. There is something special about waking up like this, before the day has really begun, and simply staying for a while to look out at the sea.
And then come the evenings.
When the sun disappears, the terrace becomes a completely different place. One of the moments we love most is simply staying outside, looking up at the stars and listening to the sound of the waves. No plans, no need to hurry anywhere. Just the sea air, the rhythm of the surf and the sky above.
Perhaps these moments explain better than anything else why we chose this home.
We love the sense of space and freedom. The home is arranged over two levels, with three bedrooms and large terraces, so everyone can find a little space of their own and then come together again — around the table, by the pool or outside on the terrace.
For us, that is an important part of a real family holiday: being together without having to be on top of one another all the time.
We also love the setting itself — the greenery, the calm of the complex, the pool and the closeness of the beach. The sea is not simply somewhere you go to. It is always present — in the view, in the light, in the air and in the rhythm of the day.
And yet, in the end, it is the simplest things that stay with you.
Morning coffee on the terrace.
Coming back from the beach.
Dinner outside.
A few more minutes under the stars before going to bed.
That is exactly what we wanted Aquamarine Garden Beach to be.
Not simply a beautiful seaside home, but a place where you begin to collect favourite moments of your own.
